Professional Experience
Based in Tampa, Florida, John Schilling is responsible for identifying and underwriting potential projects for the Residential Division throughout Florida. Additionally, John supports Phillip Smith, vice president of development, in coordinating the development, design, and construction of Crosland’s multi-family and mixed-use projects throughout Florida. Prior to joining Crosland, John worked as a financial advisor for a boutique investment research firm based in South Florida. For over 3 years, John managed relationships and the delivery of custom portfolio research to high net worth individuals living in the United States, Europe, and Asia. Joining Crosland initially as an intern while completing his MBA coursework, John’s development associate role became full-time in late 2006.
