As President of Crosland Residential, David manages the daily operations of the multi-family division and works with the division's senior management teams in Residential Development, Residential Property Management, Contracting and Mixed-Use to establish and implement new strategic goals and initiatives. The Residential Division concentrates on developing and constructing luxury for-rent and for-sale infill and mixed-use housing, property management, tax-credit housing, renovations, and acquisitions throughout the Southeast. Crosland currently operates a portfolio of over 40 communities with a market value exceeding $700 million. David joined Crosland in 1998 to help develop Birkdale Village before opening the company's first regional office in Raleigh, North Carolina in 2000. David moved back to Charlotte in 2007 to continue to expand the company's emphasis on developing high quality suburban, urban, and mixed-used residential communities. Prior to joining Crosland, David practiced residential and commercial architecture in Michigan.
