Since 2003 Professional ExperienceDean has over 28 years experience in the development and construction industry. As a part of a mid-sized construction/ development firm, he was responsible for the development of over 1,000 housing units consisting of condominiums, townhomes, and single family detached homes in the Research Triangle area. For 14 years, Dean was the head of The Affordable Housing Group and developed over 1,000 units of multi-family Tax Credit apartments consisting of both new construction and rehabilitated properties. Dean’s Tax Credit communities have earned two Housing North Carolina awards for both seniors and multi-family communities, as well as the national Fannie Mae Maxwell award for best affordable housing.
