Crosland Names Retail Leasing Associate and Finance Manager

Charlotte, N.C. (November 20, 2002) — Crosland, one of the Southeast’s leading, privately held, diversified real estate companies, continues to develop staffing depth by naming a new retail leasing associate and assigning a full time finance manager to its retail and multifamily divisions.

Megan Deblitz has been named leasing associate in the retail division, responsible for leasing and marketing a portfolio which currently includes over 15 centers in the Charlotte region. According to retail division president Alex Dmyterko, “We are pleased to welcome Megan to this position. We are familiar with her strong capabilities and look forward to fully utilizing her skills on retail assignments.” Deblitz’s duties include tenant representation, leasing and build-to-suit projects in the Charlotte area, as well as coordinating marketing and promotional materials for various Crosland projects. Deblitz previously served as sales associate for commercial land development in Crosland’s office and industrial division. Prior to joining Crosland, she was a broker for Markeim-Chalmers commercial real estate in Philadelphia and was a salesman for Aerotek, a national recruiting firm headquartered in Baltimore. Deblitz is a graduate of the University of Maine with a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication. She is a licensed real estate salesman in North and South Carolina, as well as New Jersey.

Rhonda Walcott has been named finance manager for Crosland’s retail and multifamily divisions. According to CFO Ned Long, “Rhonda will work with me and the two divisions’ presidents and staff to monitor financial and accounting issues and help execute strategic and operational initiatives.”

Prior to joining Crosland, Walcott was senior finance manager for the SuppliServ division of Solectron Corporation and had been financial planning and reporting manager for Clariant Corporation. She also served as accounting manager at Home Innovations, Inc. and was an auditor with Coopers & Lybrand. Walcott is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. She is a CPA in North Carolina.
