Barberree joins Crosland-Florida as the Director of Land Development. Dean will oversee all aspects of project management from the design phase to completion. His many responsibilities include budgeting, planning, entitlement support, contracting selection and management and the feasibility coordination of Crosland’s residential and mixed-use communities in Florida. “As a part of Crosland’s commitment to Florida, my responsibility is to lead the professional team that is charged with developing each of our communities. At Crosland, our goal is to incorporate those features that create a unique lifestyle for each project,” says Dean A. Barberree, Director of Land Development for Crosland-Florida. A multi-faceted construction administrator, Dean has worked in all aspects of project development including positions as project manager, site development manager, and land development manager. “Dean’s proven ability to successfully manage commercial and residential developments will prove invaluable as Crosland seeks new opportunities for residential and mixed-use communities in Florida,” says Perry Reader, president of Crosland-Florida. Dean holds a Master of Science degree in Land Development and a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A & M University, College Station, Texas. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, staying current on industry trends and developments. Crosland established its Florida regional offices in 2004 in recognition of the market potential and growth of Central Florida. Crosland’s focus in Florida ranges from large-scale community development with vertically-integrated structure and multiple product lines to smaller and/or mixed-use projects.
