Three National Retailers Join Providence MarketPlace

Nashville’s First Books-A-Million Superstore Among Tenants

Mount Juliet, Tenn., December 7, 2005 – Three new national retailers have committed to Providence MarketPlace, the rapidly-growing lifestyle and entertainment component of the 1,000-acre Providence community in Mount Juliet. The new tenants are Books-A-Million, Old Navy and Panera Bread.

“These additions offer consumers an opportunity to shop at some of the nation’s top retail stores,” said Charles Thrift, senior leasing associate with Crosland, Inc. “Shoppers can experience a wealth of services and restaurants at Providence MarketPlace, all in a family-friendly, open-air environment.”

Making its debut in the Nashville market, Books-A-Million (15,000 square feet) will offer an expansive selection of books, magazines, bargain books, collectible supplies, and extensive card and gift departments. Additionally, the store will house Joe Muggs Café, a full-line coffee and espresso bar offering a wide selection of gourmet coffees, teas, desserts and brewing supplies.
Old Navy (14,883 square feet) provides affordable fashion clothing for adults, teens, kids and infants. Known best for its denim, graphic tees, cargos and fleece, Old Navy offers ever-changing seasonal styles. Each week, the store will feature an “item of the week,” touting a special item at a discount price.

Panera Bread (4,746 square feet) is the first of many dining establishments expected at Providence MarketPlace. The combination restaurant and bakery will offer a wide selection of artisan breads, signature sandwiches, pastries and sweets, hand-tossed salads and hot soups. Panera will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, offering atypical specialties such as turkey artichoke on basil pesto focaccia or chocolate-chip scones.

Other Providence MarketPlace tenants to date are Kroger, Belk, Target, Consolidated Theatres, JCPenney, Best Buy, Dick’s Sporting Goods, T.J. Maxx/HomeGoods, Ross, Jo-Ann Fabrics and Crafts, and PetSmart.
