|  |  | Cochran joins Crosland as SuperintendentRaleigh, N.C., August 22, 2006– Crosland Inc., one of the Triangle’s leading real estate companies, has named Ron Cochran as a superintendent in its Raleigh office.
Cochran brings nearly 20 years of commercial construction experience to his new position. Prior to joining Crosland, he spent twelve years with Shelco, a regional general contractor with offices in Raleigh, Winston-Salem and Charlotte. He also spent a number of years with Hoar Construction in Birmingham, Alabama. Prior to that, he worked for Shank Construction and Greenspire Development, both of Lexington, Kentucky.
“Ron is truly a veteran in the field of commercial construction with experience that ranges from office high rise to retail and most everything in between,” said Glenn Crum, vice president of contracting for Crosland’s Raleigh office. “As we work to maintain our growth in the Raleigh market while preserving our high standard for quality work, experienced team members like Ron are going to make the difference.”
Crosland currently has 1,564 multi-family units in the development pipeline in the Triangle area including Weston Lakeside, the Residences at the Arboretum, Southpoint Village and Wilson Park.
