Burgin Dossett Joins Crosland Tennessee Division as Vice President of Development

Nashville, Tenn., November 27, 2006 - Crosland, Inc., one of the region’s leading real estate companies, has announced that Burgin E. Dossett has joined the company as vice president of development in its growing Tennessee division, based in Nashville. He will direct and oversee the company’s development projects, located primarily in Nashville’s downtown area.

Dossett comes to Crosland with more than 23 years of experience in commercial real estate development and architecture, including 10 years in the international arena. Most recently he served as group vice president of the Mills Corporation’s European division, directing new business development of commercial centers in Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom. Prior to Mills, Dossett was with The Walt Disney Company’s Imagineering group overseeing the management and design of projects in Florida, Italy and France. Dossett holds both a
Bachelor and Master of Architecture degree from Tulane University.

Notable projects Dossett has overseen include the Madrid Xanadu Centre in Spain, St. Enoch Town Centre in Glasgow, Scotland; Walt Disney Studios Theme Park near Paris, France; Underground Atlanta; and Miami’s Bayside Marketplace.

Dossett’s arrival marks the beginning expansion of Crosland’s Tennessee division, according to Bill Barkley, division president. “Burgin is a great addition to our firm, and Crosland is excited to attract someone with his talent and experience,” said Barkley. “His extensive knowledge and expertise will be a real asset as we expand our portfolio of properties in the Tennessee market. We are delighted to welcome him to Crosland and to Nashville.”

Dossett remarked that the work Crosland is doing in the Nashville market is what attracted him to the company. “Crosland has an impeccable reputation in the industry, and I was intrigued by the innovative projects the company is developing in the Nashville market,” said Dossett. “My family and I have been based in Paris for the past six years and it was an exciting time for us but we were ready to move back to the States. Nashville is one of the fastest growing and most vibrant cities in the Southeast, and it is a great place to be both from a business and a family perspective.”

An active member of the communities where he has lived, Dossett has been chairman of the Orlando Historic Preservation Board, serves on the board of the Marymount School of Paris and is active in Boy Scouts.
