Chick-fil-A Coming to Crosland’s Pendleton Village

Charlotte, N.C., Aug. 7, 2007 – Crosland LLC, one of the Southeast’s leading diversified real estate companies, will soon welcome national restaurant chain Chick-fil-A to Pendleton Village, a 25-acre commercial development in the northwest quadrant of the I-77/Hwy. 160 interchange in Fort Mill, S.C.

“We are excited to open our first Fort Mill location at Pendleton Village,” said John Featherstone, director of real estate for Chick-fil-A. “With its proximity to Baxter Village and I-77, we meet our customers’ demand for convenience and accessibility by accommodating residents and visitors alike with quality, affordable family dining.”

Chick-fil-A boasts a menu based on chicken products and fresh ingredients, tasty side dishes, enjoyable desserts and hand-made preparation techniques for many items including hand-breaded chicken and freshly squeezed lemonade. Signature items such as the Southwest Chargrilled Salad, Chicken Cool Wrap and Breakfast Burrito will be offered alongside of Chick-fil-A’s legendary sandwiches, side dishes and desserts.

“We’re delighted to offer another restaurant option for the residents of Fort Mill,” said David McConnell, leasing associate for Crosland. “Pendleton Village is well positioned in one the fastest growing communities in South Carolina and we look forward to welcoming even more quality shops and restaurants to this thriving area.”

The restaurant is scheduled to open January 2008. Site work is underway for 31,000 square feet of retail shop space and two additional outparcels, which will open fall of next year. Lowe’s Home Improvement anchors the village center. The 140,000-square-foot store opened in June.
