Darryl Hemminger joins Crosland as Vice President of Residential DevelopmentRaleigh, N.C., October 21, 2008 – Crosland, one of the Triangle’s leading real estate companies, has named Darryl Hemminger vice president of residential development in its Raleigh office. Hemminger will oversee site acquisition, financing and regulatory approvals for new construction projects. He will also retain and manage design professionals and supervise general contractor activities for a number of Crosland’s signature residential projects. Before joining Crosland, Hemminger managed his own company in Florida, Hemminger Development, which designed and constructed high-end custom homes. He also worked for six years at ZOM, a highly respected multi-family development and management company. At ZOM, Hemminger focused his energies on a wide range of residential projects throughout Florida including garden style and high-rise rentals, hotel renovations, mixed-use developments and single-family homes. “Given Darryl’s impressive background and residential experience, we expect him to be a key player in the Triangle market and a leader in the division’s continued emphasis on luxury rental apartments and high-quality communities,” said David Ravin, Crosland’s residential division president.
