Crosland Continues to Add New Stores to Area Retail DevelopmentsCharlotte, N.C., Nov. 7, 2008 – Crosland’s retail division continues to add new businesses to neighborhood shopping centers in the Charlotte area. These new stores provide Charlotte residents greater shopping opportunities, services and amenities within the area they live and work. Recently, Crosland brought several new stores to Hunter’s Crossing, Seneca Square, Stonecrest at Piper Glen and Town Center Plaza. Located at Highway 521 and Marvin Road, Hunter’s Crossing welcomes two new tenants, EmbroidMe and Dr. Alan Resnick. EmbroidMe (1,269 square feet) is a national provider of custom embroidery, screen printing and promotional products. The store specializes in custom embroidery and offers a wide range of upscale embroidery products. EmbroidMe also personalizes gifts through their custom engraving, monogramming and embossing. The other new addition to Hunter’s Crossing is the medical office of Dr. Alan Resnick (1,268 square feet). Dr. Resnick practices internal medicine. “We believe these tenants will help diversify the shopping and services offered at Hunter’s Crossing,” said John Hollmeyer of Ferncroft Capital. “Crosland’s understanding of the market’s needs leads to successful opportunities for our tenants.” Sitting on almost four acres in South Charlotte on South Blvd. and Tyvola Road, Seneca Square has added 5 Star Nails (2,400 square feet) to their tenant lineup. Selling professional nail salon equipment at wholesale prices, this shop joins the center’s other 17 businesses and anchor store Office Depot. Joining Target, Regal Cinema and Harris Teeter at Stonecrest at Piper Glen are Beaux Home and Dolce Lusso. Beaux Home (1,298 square feet) is a purveyor of fine antique furnishings and unique home accessories. The store also offers an assortment of custom draperies for the finishing touches of your home. The upscale salon Dolce Lusso is also opening a new location at Stonecrest; the 3,220 square foot salon and spa will offer clients a full menu of services including hair care, skin care and nail services. In addition, Dolce Lusso will provide salon-quality items for take home-purchase such as personal grooming tools as well as skin and hair care items. The University area of Charlotte also welcomes a new tenant to the Town Center Plaza shops. The Cartridge Store, currently open for business, sells top quality printer cartridges, toners and paper products. The Cartridge Store (1,302 square feet) also offers customers packaging and shipping services. “Keeping the lineup of tenants in a neighborhood retail center diverse and current is very important to the success of each center,” said Susan McGuire, senior vice president of retail at Crosland. “We want to provide Charlotte residents with the variety of shops and services that they desire to cater to their busy lifestyle.” |
