At Crosland, our stewardship extends beyond fiscal philanthropy. We take our role very seriously in shaping the future of the communities we build. Whether we enhance an urban environment and promote a pedestrian-friendly center by mixing uses, or preserve valuable wildlife and tree canopy, we are committed to creating a sustainable future. We evaluate each opportunity carefully to ensure it is appropriate for the Crosland signature. After all, just because we can doesn’t mean we should.
Chairman and CEO Todd Mansfield is committed to fulfilling Crosland's sustainable mission and chaired a ULI conference titled Building a Sustainable Future; Trends, Opportunities, and Challenges in Abu Dhabi. He also served as a jury member for the Financial Times / ULI Sustainable Cities Awards in London. We are a member of the U.S. National Green Building Council, employ over 20 LEED Accredited Professionals and are currently developing multiple LEED-related projects. Longleaf, one of our Florida communities is certified as a "Green Development" based on the Florida Green Building Coalition (FGBC) standards for community development.
