 Crosland has several new affordable projects now under construction or in lease up. All of Crosland's affordable properties have rents considerably lower than rents at similar market rate properties. These projects are reserved for low and very low income households. Details regarding rents and qualifying resident incomes can be obtained from each project’s leasing office, when those offices are opened near the end of each project’s construction period. 940 Brevard
940 Brevard will consist of 100 one-bedroom affordable units for the elderly in a mid-rise elevator building.The community will be located at Brevard and Twelfth Street, in Charlotte, North Carolina.This project combines HOPE VI funds and federal and state tax credits.Crosland will be the principal developer, general contractor and property manager for the community.

Griffin Plaza
Crosland recently broke ground on this $35 million 10-story residential and retail development in Nashville, TN. It is LEED-registered with green vegetated roofs, recycled materials, abundant sun windows and several energy saving features to reduce the impact on the environment. Griffin Plaza will offer approximately 150 affordable and market rate apartments, 32,000 square feet of retail, the preservation of 2 historical homes, and an urban pocket park. Dobbins Hill II Located in Chapel Hill along the main corridor of Highway 15-501, the second phase of Dobbins Hill has begun.The 32-unit affordable, family apartments will consist of 1, 2, and 3 bedroom units and will have amenities such as utility rooms with washer/dryer hook ups, large and spacious living spaces and storage throughout.Amenities will include a community space with a TV room, separate laundry facilities, resident computer area, exercise room, library, and sitting areas.
