Tenure with Crosland: Since 2001 Professional ExperienceDoug has over 25 years experience in market rate, multi-family, single family, and affordable housing construction. He has been directly involved in the construction of 6,000 apartment units and 200 single-family homes in Alabama, North Carolina and South Carolina. Among the notable projects completed by him are a Home Depot store in Birmingham, AL, and a country club at Hampton Cove, a Robert Trent Jones golf development in Huntsville, AL. Prior to joining Crosland, Doug was a project manager for JPI Apartment Construction LP, a Texas-based multifamily and student housing developer, and Maxus Construction Company, an Alabama based general contractor. He also spent twelve years with the Haysland Companies, a Huntsville, AL based real estate developer.
