Professional Experience
Carl has been in the construction industry for over 41 years, managing the construction of 9.5 million square feet of commercial and residential projects. With Crosland, he is currently managing the construction of an 83 unit condominium project located in Charlotte. Carl previously served as vice president of construction for Commonwealth Development Group where he supervised a team of project managers and field superintendents during the construction of large commercial projects, which included regional malls, shopping centers and office buildings. His expertise also extends to the areas of land acquisition and preparing conceptual estimates for future projects. While employed by J.A. & G Development and Construction, Carl again served as vice president of construction, building commercial projects, fast food restaurants, and multi-family residences. During his tenure with Crown American Corporation he served as senior project manager in charge of the construction of regional malls, shopping centers, and hotels.
