million award-winning urban redevelopment project designed by Looney Ricks and Kiss and RTKL of Dallas. They are leaders in urban infill development and adaptive reuse of historic buildings.
BMG- Little Sisters Building
BMG (now Sony) award winning headquarters was a historic convent of the Little Sisters of the Poor designed in Tuscan architecture. Armistead Barkley Inc. converted this infill mixed-use project to include an 80,000 SF music office campus, a multi-media center, a 250 car parking garage, and residential rental units located across from the Vanderbilt campus. 1101 McGavock Building
Located in the heart of The Gulch, the 1101 McGavock Building is a 4-story, 52,000 square foot historic structure built in the 1920s next to the Braid Electric Building. The structure was renovated and expanded in 2001 and Crosland currently is leading a $2.5 million renovation designed by Manuel Zeitlin Architects. Terrazzo
Crosland is developing a $65 million, 14-story mixed-use development in The Gulch at the southeast corner of 12th Avenue South and Division Street. Epitomizing the best of urban living, the 300,000 square-foot contemporary building will include approximately 20,000 square feet of retail space and 75,000 square feet of office space, topped by 10 floors of residential with 109 condominiums, in addition to four floors of access-controlled parking. Braid Electric Building
The historic Braid Electric Building, is being renovated and transformed into a technologically-advanced, mixed-use, office and retail facility at 12th & Demonbreun Street totaling 62,000 square feet. This renovated warehouse won an award for best design.

Javanco
The Javanco building located in The Gulch at 12th Ave. South - this is a blend of warehouses renovated into 50,000 SF of retail, restaurants/bars, and entertainment venues, with the new construction of New York style loft apartments rising five floors above the renovated retail warehouses.
Providence MarketPlace

Crosland developed Providence MarketPlace, the largest open-air retail center in the greater Nashville area, which celebrated its Grand Opening on Friday, August 4th. This joint venture with Carolina Holdings is the 103-acre retail component of the 1,000 acre Providence community in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. This "omnicenter" has approximately 800,000 square feet of retail space, including Belk, Kroger, restaurants, and a movie theater. This center offers the retailers and open-air environment of a typical power center, the department store anchor of an enclosed mall, and the variety and convenience of a neighborhood center. The property will be developed and merchandised to serve the greater regional area with a distinctive retail grouping, with attention to planning, architecture and landscaping.
