More Shops Coming to Blakeney

Charlotte, N.C., July 22, 2008 – Blakeney, south Charlotte’s upscale retail destination, will soon welcome new retailers AT&T, Brilliant Sky Toys & Books, denimlounge and Mud Pie Monograms.

A free-standing 4,824 square-foot AT&T will open later this year. AT&T is the world’s largest provider of both local and long distance telephone services, wireless service and DSL Internet access in the United States with 71.4 million customers. The store will offer all of the latest technologies including home entertainment products, music, video and games and wide selection of wireless phones.

Customers will be able to interact with the company’s extensive portfolio of wireless, broadband, video and wireline voice products and services through several experience and personalization stations located throughout the store. In addition, knowledgeable store personnel will be on hand to guide customers through product trial and purchasing decisions.

Brilliant Sky Toys and Books (3,650 square feet) is a premier specialty toy retailer offering high-quality, developmentally-sound toys, games, books and more, seeking to enrich, enlighten and entertain the families of the Blakeney area. Customers of the store will find a vast inventory of specialty play items including puzzles, classic wooden toys, arts and crafts, science and nature projects, as well as outdoor and active play games from a variety of vendors. The store is scheduled to open in the fall.

denimlounge (1,186 square feet) is a jeans boutique that caters to women and men, from teens to mid-40s. This fresh, innovative boutique will present a distinctive shopping experience for the denim enthusiast. The boutique will carry mid-priced and premium denim, as well as accessories such as tee shirts by Lucky, Monarchy, Retrosport and PeaceLoveMom, as well as belts by New Classic. The denimlounge customer understands and appreciates style, comfort and quality in a contemporary jeans market. Seasonal denim clothing will include jackets, skirts and cropped jeans. The store will carry several brands, such as AG, 1921, James Jeans, Denim of Virtue, Lucky, !iT and Anoname. The store is scheduled to open later this year. For monogramming of the ordinary to the extraordinary, Mud Pie Monograms and Gifts (1,726 square feet) will offer a variety of personalized unique gifts for baby, child and adult, as well as for the home, business or group.
