Crosland’s Blakeney Crossing Announces Additional Shops and ServicesCharlotte, N.C., Aug. 22, 2008 – Blakeney Crossing, the 87,000 square feet of traditional retail, restaurants and services located opposite the Target-anchored Blakeney shopping center on the corner of Ardrey Kell and Rea Roads, will soon welcome new tenants Bank of America, Manhattan Bagel, Massage Envy and SAS Cupcakes.
Bank of America will open a new location at Blakeney in the first quarter of next year. The opening of this new branch means that the bank will now have over 25 locations in Charlotte to serve their customers. As one of the world’s largest financial institutions, Bank of America constantly strives to provide its clients with excellent customer service, and the convenient new location at Blakeney Crossing gives surrounding residents easy access to their full range of banking, investing, asset management and other financial and risk-management products and services.
Manhattan Bagel (2,072 square feet) will offer daily breakfast and lunch in a contemporary, casual dining setting. The breakfast menu will include a variety of egg sandwiches, omelet wraps, and tostinis and the traditional bagel and cream cheese option. The lunch menu will include a choice of salads, soups and more than 24 freshly made sandwiches, hot or cold. The restaurant will also feature a specialty coffee bar with made-to-order espresso-based coffees such as lattes and cappuccino.

Massage Envy (2,950 square feet) is the leader in bringing the benefits of massage out of the elite spa environment and into the affordable realm of neighborhood shopping centers. The licensed and professional massage therapists will offer several different types of massage, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, pre-natal and reflexology. The store will be open seven days a week with late evening hours to accommodate busy schedules.
SAS Cupcakes (1,615 square feet) will create specialty treats for every occasion including birthday, baby shower, holiday, wedding, romance, corporate and more. In addition to its ongoing menu, the store will offer daily specials. Flavors such as peanut butter, Frangelico hazelnut, Kahlua mocha, white chocolate pretzel and red velvet are amongst the offerings that cupcake aficionados may select. Pick-up, delivery and shipping options are available depending upon order date. The store will be open seven days a week beginning at 10 a.m.
Located at the corner of Ardrey Kell and Rea Roads, Blakeney Crossing boasts 87,000 square feet of retail space for shops, restaurants and services. Anchoring the center will be national retailers Best Buy, opening Oct. 3, and PetSmart, opening Oct. 6. Previously announced shops include Just Fresh, Winestore, Asian Fusion, Salsarita’s Fresh Cantina and Omaha Steaks. All shops and restaurants should open early December through the first quarter of next year.
