For more than 75 years, the name Crosland has been associated with excellence and innovation in real estate. Founded in 1937 by John Crosland, the company has been a leader in the commercial and residential real estate markets throughout its history, developing, marketing and managing award-winning projects throughout the Southeast. Notable Crosland developments include: Biltmore Park Town Square in Asheville; Birkdale Village, Alpha Mill Apartments, Blakeney and Sharon Corners in Charlotte; and Oberlin Court and 712 Tucker in Raleigh.
In 2011, in response to the industry's shifting economic conditions, Crosland divested its operating divisions, choosing to focus exclusively on asset management and financial oversight of its current portfolio of properties. The decision reflects the company's ongoing commitment to responsible fiscal stewardship and its proven ability to effectively forecast and adapt to changing markets. Crosland's investment strategy emphasizes capital preservation and incentive alignment between the firm's investors. The company focuses on long-term value creation and a hands-on asset management approach.
